Wakatipu Potters Group
A not-for-profit community pottery club. Meets 8 months of the year for club night, Wednesdays 6pm – 8pm (excluding July, Aug, Dec, and Jan). Club nights are open to the general public and are free, except for gold coin donation if clay is used. Although we endeavor to do so in the future, we do not currently host instructional classes in pottery. Therefore we recommend that potential inexperienced visitors to our club nights do a bit of research on the internet or the library beforehand, so that you have an idea of what you want to try before you get here. There is a wealth of inspiring and creative information out there that can get you started :-) All levels of experience welcomed. After 3 visits to club night, visitors can apply to join our club permanently and have 24/7, year-round access to studio for annual fee. During non-club night months, we can arrange private visits to our studio.
