To work with various community groups and associations operating in New Zealand under one umbrella. * To provide strength, support and assistance to the concerns of migrants and ensure that they feel attached to the community and gain complete access to communal and well-being services in New Zealand to enjoy happiness, welfare and comfortable standard of living. * To ensure that people of Indian origin are aware of the availability of community based services and public sector knowhow. * To organise functions to celebrate various festivals of India and to commemorate important national events. * To setup separate wings for senior citizens, women, youth and children of Bhartiya Samaj. * To organise events including sports for the people of Indian origin to provide an environment that meets their physical, emotional and social needs. * To interact and co-operate with other community organisations for the development of healthy and conducive relations. To engage in support and promote any such other objectives that help in the fulfilment and achievement of above mentioned objectives at large. * Multicultural Play Group, Annual Summer Camp, Language & Cultural Classes, Workshops and Sessions to make them more responsible and develops their personality in a positive way. * Our initiatives provide members from Indian migrant communities a platform to engage with each other for lending mutual support, better learning, socializing and awareness. * Our Social Services Support Wing and Community Grievance Support Initiatives helps resolve several issues such as domestic violence, family disputes and cultural counselling. * To ensure that the Informative and Innovative Sessions help forge a pathway for each and every participating member, regardless of their family’s social or financial circumstances. *Pecuniary gain is not a purpose of the Society.
